and now statements have been sent out that chris zephro is pushing back and a lot of the masks will not be going out until later. they lied about the product and went back on promises. who is suprised. fools.

what it looks like online vs what they send
trick or treat studios has a long history of not sending out high quality items matching the photos and descriptions on the website and comments. also a long history of lying and saying that they use production copies for stock photos and not detailed finished copies.
this is advertised and the customer copy on the right.
trick or treat studios announced a captain kirk replica and knowing their history of their product looking different from the advertised copy consumers asked what a production copy would look like. Chris Zephro personally said that what was pictured on the website was a production copy.

advertised copy looked like this
and this is what customers recieve
they announced they would be making new halloween masks from the master mold and put photos of the mask on their website
people asked if this was a production copy and Chris Zephro says it was
pictures of a screen used mask surfaced and it turned out that Chris Zephro was lying and the mask on the website pictures is his screen used copy and not from a production at all. here is what will really be sent
raise your hand if you think it is acceptable to lie to your customers
the gizmo fiasco. the events are long read about it here.

customer service issues
now you know that Chris deletes negative reviews so if you have not heard of customer service issues you are not alone. here are a few of many.
-----------------------------
-----------------------------
"Let me tell you a little something about TOTS and the way they treat their customers. I was interested in purchasing a non Myers mask but had heard that the hairline was really bad on the first couple of runs. So I thought I'd reach out to them and see if they had corrected this issue before I went ahead and ordered one. I called but nobody answered. So I left a message with John and never got a call back. Two days later I called again. And once again, nobody answered. So I left a 2nd message with John. And again, no call back. So two days after that I called and left a message with Tammy. And guess what? No call back. So then I sent them an email. And I never got a reply. How can they stay in business when they treat their customers like total sh!t? They're lucky they're so far away and I'm unable to drop by and pay them a visit. That's all I have to say about that. Has anyone else been treated like shit by these jerks? Why do people keep buying from them?"
----------------------------
"For Halloween 2013, myself and a friend decided to go as characters from the movie "They Live". A small mask / horror company by the name of Trick Or Treat Studios was selling officially liscened masks from the movie. We jumped on the oppertunity to purchase two of them, separate orders. I purchased mine directly from the company, and my friend purchased from eBay.
Trick or Treat studios charges for 2 day shipping. They created a shipping label on Oct 20th, but did not ship the item out until Oct 22nd. I sent an email to Lupe, their sales manager asking if the item was shipping out on the 20th or if a label was created, to which I did not receive a reply.
Upon receiving the mask on Oct 23rd, I was excited, and put the mask on. Prior to ordering, I was aware that the mask would have very small eye slits to see. The website had it's own blog that stated they keep the eye slits small so you can make them to fit your field of view.
After a few long tortuous hours of slowly cutting tiny pieces of latex out of the eyes to make it fit correctly, it was impossible to still see, and if I continued any further, it would render the mask useless, since the eyes are a major part of the masks design to begin with.
I contacted Chris, the owner of the company, who again referred me to their websites blog. I responded that although I followed the blog, it would not work in my favor, and if there was some way we could come to an agreement. His response was "well, I don't know what to tell you"
Based on the fact the website sells masks and has a blog on their website stating to cut and modify the eye slits for a better fit, a response from the owner telling me "I don't know what to tell you", upsets me as a consumer.
I opened up a paypal dispute, requesting something be done with me having to spend $74 on something that will now sit on display, to which the owner responded to the dispute stating they have a no return policy if the mask is worn or altered. As of today October 26th 2013, the website www.trickortreatstudios.com does not have any return policy listed on their site.
Chris also stated that the mask is made to the "industry standard" of 24.5 inches, based on the average human head circumference. He also stated to paypal that due to health and safety reasons there are no returns. He did however, tell me via email if I did not cut the mask he would have offered a refund. As of today October 26th 2013, the website www.trickortreatstudios.com does not have the industry standard head size or the health and safety standards listed.
My friend, who ordered the same mask from a different retailer via eBay, did have mask issues regarding fit size and viewing issues was offered a refund for the item. He was also only charged $54 for the same item, where in my case I decided to purchase the mask from the source who produced them, figuring I would be loyal to their company."
------------------------
"Would not answer E-mails or phone in regards to order. When I asked to cancel order they shipped it. I pre-ordered a "Nameless Ghoul" mask at the end of July. They guaranteed the mask would be delivered by October 1st. I also selected 2 day shipping. I e-mailed them everyday asking where my mask was from October 1st - October 6th. October 6th they said they needed 15$ more for shipping, because my original charge didn't cover it. October 9th and 10th I ask if they are ever going to ship it no response. October 11th I ask again no response. October 11th and again on October 12th at 0900 CST I send 10 Emails and notify their Facebook multiple times to cancel my order. At 1400 CST they send out my package, even though I had sent 10+ E-mails asking for it to be cancelled. Now they blocked me on Facebook and wont respond to e-mails still."
----------------
"All I want is for my money to be refunded for a product that was in stock that still has not been shipped. This complaint is against Trick or Treat Studios: ATTN: ***** ****** XXXX-XXX-XXXX *****@trickortreatstudios.com Receipt No: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX Paid thru Paypal with Capital One Credit Card Amount of $132.47 on 9/27/2015. This purchase was a gift for a Halloween/Birthday that was IN STOCK. Sent an email on 10/1 asking about my order...NO REPLY. Another email on 10/2...NOTHING. Sent an email on 10/6 asking to cancel the order with still no reply so I placed a call and was told in a very rude tone that no, the order has not been shipped but that in no way can they cancel the order either. Ok fine...So I stated that I would return the item in which I was told SORRY NO RETURNS! Check their website please! NOWHERE on that site nor on my Paypal receipt does it state NO RETURNS. Please help, Not Fair!"
attacking customers who have negative opinions
it would make the most sense to have a public relations manager but instead Chris Zephro decides to make accounts on platforms to lash at customers with varying opinions. this is one example of many and see it for yourself. is this how a business man with a clean conscious would conduct himself?
a separate run in
the hypocrisy of Chris Zephro
recently Chris Zephro started to come down on the independent mask making community for making Halloween 2018 masks. he is able to do it since he has a license with miramax but it is ironic. Chris and a couple of his main partners started in the independent mask scene. for years he has made and purchased the illegal masks that he has come down so hard on lately. you would think he would stop collecting them or shut down all mask makers wouldnt you?
Ken Hertlein makes popular Michael Myers masks and a while ago he started advertising a limited run of Halloween 2 masks and Chris Zephro shares a license with universal pictures to make this mask. using his own logic he would have shut down Ken but hed rather extort the mask makers who he favors by making deals not to turn them into studios in exchange for what he calls illegal masks. raise your hand if you think this is ethical

if theyre so bad why arent there a lot of bad facebook reviews on their page?
they barely have any bad facebook reviews because the owner Chris Zephro deletes them. it has been said by many people and when chris can't delete it he fights back and lashes at consumers Raise your hand if you think its okay to remove negative reviews from your business page
What is this?
The motive for these posts are to show the true colors of trick or treat studios and its owner Chris Zephro
